Reino Aventura (Adventure Kingdom) Opened its gates in 1982, and is ever since the largesttheme park in allLatin America . The Park's Mascot was a purple dragon named Cornelio. Since its opening no new attractions were added so attendance dropped. In 1992 the park was closed for an extensive remodeling as well as adding new rides and it opened once again in July 3 1993 with the new name El Nuevo Reino Aventura (The New Adventure Kingdom) featuring new rides like El Rio Salvaje (a raft ride), Viaje Inesperado (a motion simulator) and El Roller (aVekoma KiddieCoaster ). In this year the feature filmFree Willy was shot in the park. This attracted numerous animal rights organizations which pressured the park to free the orca Keiko. After Keiko left, Cornelio the dragon became once again the Park's official mascot.ix Flags Mexico History

It opened its gates again in April 19 2000 as Six Flags México.Premier Parks bought the rest of the stocks on Six Flags, and became Six Flags Inc. which is their current name. Then in 2005 the park built a new roller coaster called Superman el Último Escape (Superman the Last Escape).Attractions
