Archipelago ( _id. Kepulauan Banggai) is a group of islands, which is located at the far eastern end ofCentral Sulawesi ,Indonesia . It makes up a newly established regency ("kabupaten") after splitting out ofLuwuk . It is surrounded by theBanda Sea 'sGulf of Tolo ("Teluk Tolo"), and theMolucca Sea .Peleng Straits ("Selat Peleng") separates it from mainlandSulawesi .Its islands consist of
Peleng ,Banggai Island ,Bowokan ,Labobo ,Kebongan ,Kotudan ,Tropettenando ,Timpau ,Salue Besar ,Salue Kecil ,Masepe , andBangkulu .Transportation
To get to the archipelago, you can fly with MERPATI from
Palu (the capital of Central Sulawesi) or go by bus toLuwuk , and then by boat or ship get to Banggai.
