Gary Jasgar (November 8, 1935—August 22, 1994) was an American former child actor, most notable for appearing as "Junior" in the "Our Gang" short subjects series from 1937 to 1939. Jasgar was often cast as the younger, bothersome brother of Spanky and Alfalfa.

Jasgar left the film industry, as Leonard Maltin put it, "before he knew he was in it" [Maltin, Leonard and Bann, Richard W. (1977, rev. 1992). Gary was actually his middle name, and in high school Gary preferred to be called Mel. Jasgur married in 1956, and had four children and ten grandchildren. Mel Jasgur had a keen sense of humor, adopting as his personal motto the phrase, "He who laughs, lasts." He was creative, hard working, and passionate about his family. Sadly, he died on August 22, 1994, leaving a legacy of love and laughter.
