Supabarn is a supermarket chain based in Canberra with shops across the Australian Capital Territory (Canberra) and New South Wales in Australia. After opening in the Canberra Centre in 1991 as Supabarn Emporium, the chain has been renamed Supabarn Supermarkets (2004) and the original store relocated to a new extension of the Canberra Centre (2006). There are also stores in the Canberra suburbs of Wanniassa and Kaleen, as well as the Sydney suburbs of Five Dock and Gymea. Expansion

According to Supabarn's website, new stores are planned for the Sydney suburbs of San Souci and Sutherland. According to a submission from Supabarn to the recent ACCC enquiry into Grocery Prices, a third store is also in the planning stages. These three stores are planned to open in 2008, 2009 and 2010. They have also applied for a direct sale of land in the Canberra Suburb of Kingston, and hope to build a new Supermarket on the site.
