"Tecticrater grandis" is a species of small limpet, a marine gastropod mollusc in the family Lepetellidae.

Distribution

This species is endemic to the north of New Zealand's Three Kings Islands.

Habitat

This limpet is found at depths of about 800 m.

hell description

The shell is much larger than the other "Tecticrater" species, broadly ovate, white, with well defined concentric growth lines. The anterior slope is high-arched, and the apex is near to the posterior end, which is steep and concave. The basal margin is flat.

Shell height is up to 3.4 mm, length is up to 6.6 mm, and width is up to 4.7 mm.
