Bo Ruud (born September 2, 1984 in city-state|Lincoln|Nebraska) is an American football linebacker for the New England Patriots in the National Football League. He was drafted by the Patriots in the sixth round of the 2008 NFL Draft. He played college football at Nebraska.

He is the younger brother of Tampa Bay Buccaneers linebacker Barrett Ruud.

Ruud's father, Tom Ruud, is a former linebacker for the Buffalo Bills.

Early years

He played high school football at Lincoln Southeast High School.
