Grosser Preis der Freien Hansestadt Bremen

The Grosser Preis der Freien Hansestadt Bremen was a Group 3 flat horse race in Germany open to three-year-old and above thoroughbreds. It was run over a distance of 1,600 metres (approximately 1 mile) in late October or early November.

It was usually run at Bremen, although the final running in 2007 took place at Hanover with the title Grosser Preis des Autoring Hannover. The race had held Pattern status since 2002.

In 2008 it was discontinued to allow for a new Group 3 event in November, the Herzog von Ratibor Rennen, a race for two-year-olds contested over 1,700 metres at Krefeld.
