Carl Clayton-Bailey

Carl Bailey is an ex-professional rugby league player who had a relatively short, injury plagued sports career in Australia, and latterly, Europe. With 2 stints with the Parramatta Eels in the ARL competition, in and around a brief move into soccer, he returned to rugby league with Penrith Panthers.

He was born in Warwick, United Kingdom in 1967, before making the move to Australia.Making his debut in 1985, Bailey made sporadic appearances at 1st and reserve grade, before a serious leg injury in 1992/93 season ruled him out for 18 months.

A move to Europe prolonged his career with appearances at London, Hull and in the French League La Reole & St Esteve before yet more injuries ended his playing career.
