The Evergreens are an American band that originated in San Diego, California. The Evergreens consisted of three members: Seth Torma (vocals and guitar), Torin O'Sullivan (bass), and Russ Dahl (drums).

Career

A successor band to Torma and O'Sullivan's earlier project named Urban Evergreen, The Evergreens began playing with the addition of drummer Dahl in 2004. The band played the Southern California circuit drawing critical praise with a full-length, self-titled album in January 2005. Described as having "mid-90’s modern rock influences" [ [http://www.sdmusicmatters.com/review.php?r=44 The Evergreens ] ] and as a "diamond in the rough" [ [http://sdcitybeat.com/cms/story/detail/the_great_demo_review_2005/3000/ San Diego CityBeat - THE GREAT DEMO REVIEW 2005 ] ] , the CD garnered the band a nomination for Best Rock Album 2005 at the San Diego Music Awards [http://www.theevergreens.net/index2.html] . Following the debut album, several new tracks were recorded and released via the band website.
