Hamilton scored his first Number 1 Billboard Hot 100 hit when he co-wrote and co-produced "Stutter" for Multi-platinum R&B singer Joe. In 2002 Hamilton Executive Produced theKeith Sweat album "Rebirth" which debut at No. 7 on the Billboard R&B Charts. Working largely with his brother Raphael Hamilton & Anthony M., Hamilton has been an in-demand producer for over a decade, being requested by such legends asMichael Jackson ,Britney Spears ,Pras Michel &NSYNC . In 2004 Roy was hired as the Director of A&R forCapitol Records in Hollywood, California becoming the youngest African-American record label executive in the history of the company. During his years at Capitol Records he assisted Andy Slater & Steve Prudholme in signing and releasing many acts includingMIMS &J. Holiday . In 1994 Hamilton realized he had a talent for making beats on a sythesizer. He began making demos for the local kids in Pleasantville, New Jersey. In 1995 his father Roy Hamilton Jr. took Roy with him to a professional studio session. In the session, Hamilton helped his father fine tune his demo at the age of 15. Hamilton's parents realized the talent that he had so they began buying him musical equipment. By 1997
R. Kelly began to play semi-professional basketball in Atlantic City, New Jersey. Hamilton went to one of the basketball games and gave Mr. Kelly his demo. A few months later Kelly signed Hamilton to a production deal. Kelly moved Hamilton to Chicago, Illinois where Hamilton worked on several of Kelly's projects. In 2001 Hamilton began to study underTeddy Riley crafting a #1 Pop SmashStutter . Also "Shout" forMichael Jackson . In 2004 During a two week period in Los Angeles, Hamilton & Britney Spears worked closely to complete the "In The Zone" album. Hamilton wrote and produced the song "Ive Got That (Boom Boom).
