"Eubranchus rubeolus" is a species of minute sea slug or nudibranch, a marine gastropod mollusc in the family Eubranchidae. It is an aolid nudibranch.

Distribution

This nudibranch species is endemic to the South Island of New Zealand, and south eastern Australia.

Habitat

This species is found on coarse sand and broken shell at depths of between 5 and 7 m.

Description

This nudibranch is minute and slender. The coloration is translucent, but with the oral tentacles and a large triangular patch on the head reddish-orange, the cerata transparent and the diverticula purplish-red. Its length is up to 7 mm.
