Laura Elizabeth Bissell (born 19 June 1983, Hitchin Hospital, lives in Stevenage, Hertfordshire) is an accomplished English road and track racing cyclist. [cite web|url=http://www.roadcyclinguk.com/news/article/mps/uan/667|title=Team Fat Birds UK Women's 2 Day|date=13 June 2005|publisher=roadcyclinguk.com] Bissell has represented her country at international events on several occasions,cite web|url=http://www.sportstevenage.co.uk/?page=profiles|title=Profiles of Local Sports People|publisher=Stevenage Sport] she was a member of the a British Cycling Development Plan squad alongside Nicole Cooke, competing at the 2000 & 2001 Junior Road World Championships and the 2001 Junior Track Cycling World Championships in Trexlertown, US.
