Amateur Transplants are a
London based, Britishparody musical duo consisting of medical professionals, Dr. Adam Kay and Dr.Suman Biswas .Music and biography
Their music consists mainly of parody comic songs mostly dealing with medical subjects. Many of their parodies are based on the works of American comedian/song writer
Tom Lehrer . In 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2008 they performed at theEdinburgh Fringe . 10% of the proceeds from their first album "Fitness to Practice " were donated toMacmillan Cancer Relief . The duo have released a second album "Unfit to Practise ". The band's track "London Underground", along with its accompanying flash animation, was a popular
internet fad in the UK in 2005. It was set to the tune of "Going Underground " byThe Jam criticising theLondon Underground strike that was on at the time. It contains very strong language.Discography
