As an inaugurator both of the Korean Public Relations Association [http://www.koreapr.org] and the Korea PR Consultancy Association [http://www.kprca.or.kr/english/about/about4.asp?yearcode=2001] , Kyong Hae Kim is often referred to as the ‘pioneer’ of the Korea’s PR industry [http://www.visitguam.org/media/?news_id=75] or 'Father of Public Relations in Korea' [http://theseoultimes.com/ST/?url=/ST/db/read.php?idx=3763] . He served as the president of the Korea Public Relations Association (KPRA) in 1991 ~ 1992 and was awarded ‘The PR Man of the Year’ in 1994. In addition, Korean Government awarded the president citation to him for his contributions in publicizing governmental policies in 1999.

Kyong Hae Kim founded Communications Korea [http://www.commkorea.com/2005_eng/] in 1987. It is the first PR agency in Korea, and he is current CEO of the company. He was previously the Seoul correspondent of Reuters News Agency and the economic editor of the Korea Herald. As a founder and CEO of a PR agency expertised in media publicity, MPR, crisis management, media training and consulting services, he has served a variety of clients including multinational and local companies, Korean and foreign government. He obtained APR (Accredited in Public Relations) from the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) and holds a degree in English literature from Sogang University in Seoul.
