- Theatre Puget Sound
Theatre Puget Sound(TPS) is a
not-for-profit organization devoted to supporting the performing arts in thePuget Sound area ofWashington . It was founded in 1997.Both individuals and organizations can be members of Theatre Puget Sound. Currently, there are over 1500 individual members and over 140 organizations, including both large unionized theatres such as
Seattle Repertory Theatre ,5th Avenue , andACT Theatre , as well as a large number of smaller 'fringe' theatres.TPS connects talent with organizations by sending audition notices to members. In addition, TPS holds twice yearly general auditions, which are attended by a large number of theatres throughout the area. Auditioners must be members of
Actor's Equity Association , have attended a professional training program, be a recent graduate from an undergraduate program, or have at least 4 non-academic stage credits.In addition, TPS has a small number of rehearsal and performance spaces available for rental.
