The Bishop of Edmonton is an episcopal title given to a suffragan bishop in the Church of England Diocese of London, which is within the Province of Canterbury, England.["Crockford's Clerical Directory 2008/2009 (100th edition)", Church House Publishing (ISBN 978-0-7151-1030-0).] The title takes its name after Edmonton, an area in the east of the London Borough of Enfield, England.]The current bishop is The Rt Revd Peter William Wheatley. He began his public ministry as Anglican Bishop of Edmonton, London in March 1999. He served first as Curate at All Saints Church, Fulham, prior to becoming Vicar of Holy Cross, St Pancras in 1978. In 1982, he moved to be Priest-in-charge of All Souls Church, Hampstead and St Mary's Church, Kilburn and Vicar of St James Church, West Hampstead.
