Robert Henry Gordon (born 1917? in Shankhouse, Northumberland, died September 18, 1940) was a former professional footballer, who played for Huddersfield Town.
He died in September 1940 when he was killed in action in World War II whilst serving as a Leading Aircraftman of the Royal Air Force Volunteer Reservein No 9 Sqn, RAF [ [http://www.cwgc.org/search/casualty_details.aspx?casualty=2810671 cwgc entry] ]
