Jurgen Ziewe

Jurgen Ziewe was born in Germany, Jurgen trained as an artist at The Hamburg Academy of Art ( [http://www.hfbk-hamburg.de The Hamburg Academy of Art website] ). Jurgen studied under a pupil of Kandinsky. Jurgen has worked for many years in the advertising industry in design roles. In his spare time Jurgen has pursued his love of painting and produced a large body of abstract work and 3D fantasy art desktop wallpapers.

His images have been on covers of books by science fiction authors including Robert Silverberg, Vernor Vinge, Steven Baxter, Iain Banks and Peter F. Hamilton.

Nigel Suckling wrote a book about Jurgens artwork entitled "NEW TERRITORIES - The Computer Visions of Jurgen Ziewe" and is available in paperback print ISBN 0879518111.
