Richmond parkrun

Richmond parkrun

Richmond parkrun (originally Richmond Park Time Trial) is an undulating 5 km run that takes place every Saturday morning at 9am in Richmond Park, Richmond upon Thames. It is the fifth 5km run in the parkrun umbrella organisation. It is entirely run by volunteers, and is free to enter.

History

Richmond parkrun started on 20 October 2007. It changed its name from Richmond Park Time Trial in October 2008.

Course

The event starts on the Tasmin Trail, approximately 200 meters left of Richmond Gate entrance and before the Cambrian Gate. After just less than a kilometre, the course leaves the Tasmin Trail and onto the road. At about halfway, the course rejoins the Tasmin Trail until the finish.
