- Andrew Garrett
Andrew Garrett ( 1823 - 1887 , was an American
explorer ,naturalist andillustrator Garret specialised in
malacology andichthyology . He spent much of his life in theSouth Seas . Between 1861 and 1885 he was employed as a collector by theMuseum Godeffroy in Hamburg.He also undertook illustrations for the works ofanother American malacologistWilliam Harper Pease .Works
