"Where Is the Love" is a classic song by Roberta Flack and Donny Hathaway. Released in 1972 from their "Roberta Flack & Donny Hathaway" album, it spent a week at #1 on the Hot Soul Singles chart and peaked at #5 on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart. It also went to #1 on the Adult Contemporary chart. In addition, the song won a Grammy for Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal.

Cover versions

There have been numerous cover versions. Eurovision song contest winner Dana recorded a version in the mid 1970s. Stephanie Mills and Robert Brookins recorded a version that peaked at #18 on the Hot Black Singles chart in 1988. In 1995, R&B crooner Jesse Powell and his sister Trina recorded and sang their cover version for the 1995 film, "Dead Presidents", which was also featured on the soundtrack. The Jesse-Trina version rose to #7 on the Hot R&B Singles chart and peaked at #25 on the Billboard Hot 100.
