"n"-Propyl bromide (also 1-bromopropane or 1-propyl bromide) is a colorless, flammable chemical compound. It has the chemical formula C₃H₇Br. It is an organic solvent used for the cleaning of metal surfaces, removal of soldering residues from electronic circuit boards, and as an adhesive solvent. It has quite a potent smell.
