The Union of Communist Parties — Communist Party of the Soviet Union (Russian: Союз коммунистических партий — КПСС; СКП — КПСС; "SKP — KPSS") is a group of communist parties in the former Soviet Union, comprising the:—
*Communist Party of the Russian Federation
*Communist Party of Ukraine
*Communist Party of Belarus
*Communist Party of Kazakhstan
*United Communist Party of Georgia
*Communist Party of South Ossetia
*Azerbaijan Communist Party
*Communist Party of Lithuania (banned in Lithuania)
*Party of Communists of the Republic of Moldova
*Party of Communists of Kyrgyzstan
*Armenian Communist Party

Gennady Zyuganov is the organization's chairman, who replaced Oleg Shenin in 2001, who split off a part of the UCP—CPSU as the "Communist Party of the Soviet Union".
