Hanila ( _et. Hanila vald) is a rural municipality of Estonia, in Lääne County. It has a population of 1679 (2006) and an area of 232 km².

Hanila Parish has one small borough (Virtsu) and 28 villages: Esivere, Hanila, Karuse, Kaseküla, Kause, Kinksi, Kiska, Kokuta, Kuke, Kõera, Kõmsi, Linnuse, Lõo, Massu, Mõisaküla, Mäense, Nehatu, Nurmsi, Pajumaa, Pivarootsi, Ramedn, Rannaküla, Ridase, Salevere, Ullaste, Vatla, Voose and Äila.
