Svein-Magne Pedersen

Svein-Magne Pedersen (born 1948) is a Christian Evangelist and faith healer from Norway. His two organizations Jesus Heals Ministries [http://www.jesus-heals.org/ (ref)] and Norwegian MJL [http://www.mjl.no/ (ref)] main activity is prayer for the sick on telephone to the office in Vennesla, Norway, or during healing services in Norway or abroad, where Svein-Magne prays for the sick. On his website visitors can request free prayer-cloths which his he states is a "biblical practice, described in The Book of Acts in the Bible, where handkerchiefs and clothes belonging to the apostles were placed on the sick, and they were healed." In an article on his website the following statement is found (translated) : “From 1990 and until today I have prayed about one million prayers for the sick: at the office, at meetings, over emails and letters. I estimate about 50-60000 people have been healed. At least.” [http://mjl.no/art.php?i=385 (ref)] On 26 November 2007 he appeared on a documentary on Norwegian national broadcasting (NRK 2) where he was shown praying for persons, and a woman appeared to be healed for a leg disability among others. He has debated faith healings on TV2-Norway debate program called "Lønning Direct" and later on another debate program called "Holmgang" where he prayed for the sick and asked viewers to lay hands on the TV. Television program

His TV-show is about healing and salvation. The program is called "The Miracle is Yours". It is broadcast via satellite (Thor 2, Hotbird and Eurobird) to about 80 countries in the world: Europe, The Middle East and to half of Africa.
