Morgan McPherson (born 1968) was the mayor of Key West, Florida. He was elected in 2005 and ousted in 2009.[3]

Election

In 2005, Morgan McPherson narrowly defeated incumbent Mayor Jimmy Weekley for the city job in a shocking upset. McPherson won by 24 total votes.Then in 2009 Mcpherson lost his seat as mayor to Craig Cates in what was an astounding showing by Cates. Mcpherson lost by over 1,000 votes.[4]
