Olympic medal record Women's swimming Competitor for the Netherlands Silver 1928 Amsterdam 200 m breaststroke Mietje "Marie" Baron (February 5, 1908 – July 23, 1948) was a Dutch swimmer and diver who competed in the 1924 Summer Olympics and 1928 Summer Olympics.
She was born and died in Rotterdam.
In the 1924 Olympics she was sixth in the 4x100 m freestyle relay event and was disqualified in the first round of the 200 m breaststroke event.
Four years later she won a silver medal in the 200 m breaststroke event. She was also fourth in diving's 10 m platform event.
