- Sheevra
Sheevra (also siabra) were powerful, demoniac, and dangerous
elves inIrish Mythology .The sheevras were sometimes said to have been incited by
druid s and others to do mischief, for example, in revenge for King Cormac mac Airt's leaning towards Christianity, it is said the druids let loose sheevras against him, who choked him with the bone of a salmon, while he was eating his dinner.Still today in
Ireland , a diminutive and mischiefious boy, small for his age, may be called a "little sheevra".References
