Edward Peter

Edward Percival Peter (28 March 1902–September 1986) was an English swimmer and water polo player from London, [England & Wales, FreeBMD Birth Index: Edward Percival Peter; Apr-May-Jun quarter 1902; District: Kensington; Volume: 1a; Page: 104.] who competed in the 1920 Summer Olympics, 1924 Summer Olympics and 1928 Summer Olympics.

In the 1920 Olympics he won a bronze medal in the 4×200 m freestyle relay event and was fifth in his first heat of 400 m freestyle event and fifth in the semifinal of 1500 m freestyle event and did not advance in both occasions.

Four years later in Paris he was fifth in the 4×200 m freestyle relay event and third in the first round of 400 m freestyle event and did not advance.

Again four years later in Amsterdam he was sixth in the 4×200 m freestyle relay event. He was also a member of British water polo team, which lost to France in the third place match.
