Chris Petersen (baseball player)

Chris Petersen (born November 6, 1970, in Boston, Massachusetts) was a Major League Baseball utility infielder. He is an alumnus of Georgia Southern University.

Drafted by the Chicago Cubs in the 9th round of the 1992 MLB amateur draft, Petersen would make his Major League Baseball debut with the Colorado Rockies on May 25, 1999, and appear in his final game during on June 4, 1999.

Although Petersen's only appearance at the Major League level was with the Colorado Rockies, Petersen would play in the minor league systems of the Chicago Cubs, Atlanta Braves, Cleveland Indians, Pittsburgh Pirates, and Arizona Diamondbacks.
