Liu Rushi

Liu Rushi

Liu Rushi (1618-64) was a famous courtesan in the late Ming dynasty who married Qian Qianyi at the age of 25. She committed suicide on the death of her husband.

A friend of Chen Yuanyuan, concubine of Wu San Gui who fought against Emperor Kang Xi in the Revolt of the Three Feudatories.
