Young-Ja Cho (phonetic - (yee-uhng)-jah choh) is a
sculptor born inBusan ,South Korea in 1951. A graduate ofHong-ik University , she has shown herbronze works extensively in the South Korean capital,Seoul , including a group show in 1989 entitled 'Women Artists in the 1980s', held at theKumho Gallery . Her work is inspired by classical mythology and religion, and often centres on fragments of the human form, combined with other elements of nature.She now lives and works in Molicciara,
