Jason and Marceline is a 1986 children's book by Jerry Spinelli. It is the sequel to Space Station Seventh Grade.

Plot summary

Under pressure from his wild buddies, Jason starts to think that he and Marceline need to take their relationship further. And so does Marceline. But with so many distractions, could the start of their relationship be the end of their friendship?

Characters

Jason: The main character. He really is a nice kid but he can't help but be like all the other kids in his grade.

Marceline: The goody-goody genius. She wants Jason to be who he once was, not what his friends want him to be.

The Gang: Jason's group of wild friends who enjoy drinking, girls, and parties, some things Jason is not too comfortable with.

Jewel: The girl every guy drools after. But she can't help the way she looks and she wants people to see her as who she is and not what she looks like.

AGE GROUPThis book has some words not suitable for the younger crowd.
