discovery_status=Published HD 162020 b is a brown dwarf withmass 15.0 MJ. The mass is minimum sinceinclination is not known. Thisplanetar orbits very close to the star at a distance of 0.075 AU. Despite of this, it has an eccentric orbit of 27.7%. The distance from the star ranges from 0.054 to 0.096 AU. It has an extremely high semi-amplitude of 1813 m/s.In
2002 ,Stephen Udry discovered HD 162020 b taking place inCalifornia . Udry was the same person who discovered twosuper-Earth planets orbiting aroundGliese 581 .References
