- Edwin Seward
Edwin Seward was an
architect based inCardiff ,Wales . He trained inYeovil before moving to Cardiff to work as an assistant to G. E. Robinson. By 1875 he was a member of the firm James, Seward and Thomas and went on to build some of Cardiff's most notable buildings in the late 19th Century.Works in Cardiff include:
*Cardiff Royal Infirmary
*David Morgan building
**a couple of arcades in the city centre
*Free Library in the Hayes (1880-82)
*Llanishen Methodist Church
*New Trinity Church United Reform Church/ Canton Uniting Church at junction of Cowbridge Road East and Theobald Rd
*St David's Hospital
*Coal Exchange (1884-88) in Mount Stuart SquareHe was the winning architect for the Swansea Harbour Trust Building in
