The company was founded by Amazon.com veterans Jeff Holden and Darren Vengroff.In November 2006, Pelago, Inc completed Series A financing backed by Kleiner, Perkins, Caufield & Byers; Trilogy Equity Partners; and Bezos Expeditions.
