Kate Michelman

Kate Michelman

Kate Michelman (born 1942) is an American political activist known for her involvement in the pro-choice movement. She served as president of NARAL from 1985 to 2004, and testified against Supreme Court justices Clarence Thomas and Samuel Alito in their respective confirmation hearings. She wrote her memoirs in "With Liberty and Justice for All: A Life Spent Protecting the Right to Choose" (2006).
