Sarmastpur is a village, located in Muzaffarpur District, Bihar state, India. The village has population of around 10000.

It is also known as "SHRAWASTIPURAM".It is near to the Gandak river which flows from westerm side of the village.It falls under Geyaspur panchayat, Paroo block. It is about 45 km away from Muzaffarpur town towards west.This village comprises many castes like Rajputs,Yadav,Harijans,Paswans,Barbers etc.However it is dominated by Rajput caste. There is a harmonious relationship among villagers.
