LifeLogger is a multimedia blog publishing system and social networking service. It was created by Orientations Network S.B. in 2004.

History

In December 2004, version 1.0 of LifeLogger was launched in partnership with DiGi Telecommunications. This version was limited to photo sharing via MMS-to-email, and was built as a proof of concept.

On January 15, 2005, version 1.1 was launched as a DiGi Value-Added Service [ [http://www.digi.com.my/aboutdigi/media/mr_press_det.do?id=1680&pgPoint=5&year=2005 DiGi - About DiGi - Media Room - Press Releases ] ] . Both parties signed an exclusivity contract for a period of six months which was then further extended to November 15, 2005. Version 1.1 was only open to DiGi customers, and was limited to photo sharing via MMS-to-shortcode. Customers had to send their photos via MMS to the DiGi dedicated shortcode, 2000. Each MMS cost RM0.70.

On November 15, 2005, LifeLogger parted ways with DiGi, and launched version 2.0 which was open to everyone. This version reintroduced the MMS-to-email feature for photo sharing, and discontinued MMS-to-shortcode.

On January 19, 2006, version 3.0 was launched. This version represented a major overhaul of the frontend and backend systems, but continued to be free for all. It now supported full multimedia blogging (text, photos, videos, audio) and a richer social networking experience. The frontend interface was segmented into the "LifeLog" for public viewing and "Garage" for administration. The company also streamlined the backend infrastructure, and outsourced the hosting of dedicated servers to [http://fastservers.net Fastservers] in Fremont, CA.

On May 4, 2006, version 4.0 was launched. This version was a major revamp of the frontend interface. The LifeLog and Garage were consolidated into a single experience based on overwhelming user feedback for a simpler interface. This version continued to be refined over the coming months. The last changelog was dated 23 November 2007 at version 4.01.35.

On October 3, 2006, Lifelogger LLC, a Delaware limited liability company, acquired the tangible and intellectual property assets of LifeLogger from Orientations Network S.B. pursuant to a Contribution Agreement in exchange for member's interest in Lifelogger LLC. Effective November 30, 2006, Real Sport, Inc. acquired the tangible and intellectual property assets of Lifelogger LLC, for shares of Real Sport. The shares of Real Sport were exchanged in a reverse merger for 4,000,000 common shares of ProElite, Inc. with a fair value of US$3.7 million.
