Sambizanga (film)

Sambizanga was a 1972 film produced by Sarah Maldoror on the Angolan War of Independence. It was first released in Portugal after the carnation revolution in October 1974.

Awards

* Maldoror won a Tanit d'or at the 1972 Carthage Film Festival
* She also won recognition at the 1973 Berlin International Film Festival
