Gwyn Ashton

Gwyn Ashton (born 1961 in Wales) is a blues and rock guitarist now living in Australia. He has performed as opening act for Rory Gallagher, B. B. In 2001, French "Guitar Part Magazine" [cite web | url = http://www.guitarpart.fr/ | title = Guitar Part Magazine (french)] voted Gwyn Ashton third best guitarist of the year, bested only by Jeff Beck and Gary Moore.

In 2007, his album "Prohibiton" was voted "Album of the Year" by the British "Guitar and Bass magazine".
