"Self-Made Maids" is the 124th short subject starring American slapstick comedy team the Three Stooges. The trio made a total of 190 shorts for Columbia Pictures between 1934 and 1959.

*"Self-Made Maids" is one of two Stooge films that does not have a supporting cast. The other is 1958's "Oil's Well That Ends Well".
* The boys all play themselves and a second character in drag. Moe plays himself and Moella, Larry plays himself and Larraine, and Shemp plays himself and Shempetta. Moe also plays the girls' father.
