Khuda Hafiz (Perso-Arabic: خدا حافظ, Devanāgarī: ख़ुदा हाफ़िज "khudā hāfiz") is a parting phrase traditionally used by Persian, Kurdish, and South Asian Muslims. Transliterations may also include Khudā Hāfiz, Khudā Hāfez, and Khodā Hāfiz , or Allah Hafiz. One would traditionally respond with replying "Khudā Hāfiz" or Allah Hafiz.
