Douglas O'Connor

Douglas O'Connor (1931 - ) is a retired U.S. Army general officer who was graduated from West Point in 1954 after having transferred there from St. Peter’s College of New Jersey in 1950. He served with the 82nd Airborne Division, then left the service to work as an engineer for General Instrument. He was recalled to duty as a brigadier general in 1978 and later promoted.

He is twice widowed; his first wives were both named Mary Alice. In 2007 he married widow Jeanne Louise Conway (née O’Brien), a graduate of Manhattanville College.
