The Jones Street Boys (gang)
- The Jones Street Boys (gang)
The Jones Street Boys are a fictional gang from the 1979 cult film "The Warriors". They also appeared in the 2005 video game "The Warriors". They are sometimes referred to as JSBs and are a well-known and ruthless gang from Bensonhurst, Brooklyn who are considered underrated. They have a fierce rivalry with The Saracens, who also hail from Bensonhurst. They are said to be "rich boys". The JSBs have a back-alley hangout, which is shown in the video game but never in the film.
The Jones Street Boys wear black-and-yellow striped shirts. Their warchief (deputy leader) and lieutenants wear black-and-white striped shirts. All of their members seem to be white. None of their members are shown in detail in the film or video game, but there are an estimated 100 of them. They are led by Knox.
The Jones Street Boys do not feature greatly in the film, because they do not come in to contact with The Warriors. They are shown during the intro of the film and are later seen at Cyrus' meeting. The Jones Street Boys are the opposing gang in "The Set up". The Warriors are called in by The Saracens to take down Jones Street. The JSBs are working with corrupt police officers to keep The Saracens from taking over Bensonhurst, Brooklyn. Cowboy and Cochise frame both Jones Street and the police in relation to stolen goods.
