This top shell is found at depths of between 35 and 55 m.
hell description
The shell is very solid, tall-, very narrowly umbilicated, and with heavy nodulose spiral cords.
Shell coloration is buff with brown patches between the nodes. The only comparable species, "
Homalopoma crassicostata ", has smooth cords.The shell height is up to 3 mm, and the width is up to 3.5 mm.
