Camp Chase Industrial Railroad
- Camp Chase Industrial Railroad
The Camp Chase Industrial Railroad is a small, regional railroad in Columbus, Ohio, that runs on former New York Central tracks. It is owned by a company called Carload Express, which also owns two other shortline railroads. It serves the factories and grain elevators from the West Side of Columbus to London, Ohio. Their tracks hook up with the shared Norfolk Southern/CSX Buckeye Yard, and with other Norfolk Southern tracks further north near Valleyview, Ohio. They own three switcher engines, numbers 1501, 1502, and 1503, which are painted orange, with blue writing that says "Camp Chase".
