Redwood Technologies is a communications solutions provider with headquarters in the UK and additional operations in Germany, USA, Malaysia and Nigeria.

Founded in 1993, Redwood has a global installation base, with products in over 60 countries at over 1,000 sites. The company designs and sells communications technology to a client base covering fixed and mobile carriers, large enterprises, OEMs and financial institutions.

With almost twenty years of experience within the telecommunications and computer telephony market, Redwood’s core engineering team was involved in the development of the first PC-based voice processing board and then the first DSP-based multi-channel voice processing board, as well as the development of open Computer Telephony standards.

Redwood has shown to be a hugely successful high tech company, with listings in The Deloitte Technology Fast 50 UK and The Deloitte Fast 500 EMEA, plus Communications Solutions Product of the Year Awards for a number of its Value Added Services solutions.

Sean Taylor Founder & Managing Director

Sean Taylor joined the Redwood Technologies Board of Directors in October 1994. His role was to head up the company’s new product development and positioning strategy. His initial involvement was to help formulate an architecture for Redwood’s range of communications products. In recent years he has been primarily involved in establishing the worldwide expansion of Redwood’s marketing and distribution channels for its Enhanced Communications Services hardware and software products. During his tenure, Sean has helped Redwood become one of the world’s leading companies in Converged Services.

Sean has nearly 20 years of product development and strategic planning within the telecommunications and computer telephony market. He has experience in a wide range of disciplines such as switching, Internet telephony, voice, fax and speech recognition.Sean has a BSc (Hons) degree in Electronics and Computer Science from King’s College, University of London.

Martin TaylorFounder & Sales and Marketing Director

Martin Taylor is Co-founder of Redwood and its sister company Content Guru, and serves as Group Sales and Marketing Director.

A well-known innovator of consumer –facing mass interactive services, Martin specializes in mobile solutions for online retail marketing and in format design for the next generation of interactive broadcast media concepts.

Martin also has extensive first-hand experience of key emerging market economies, and is a regular speaker at international media and communications conferences.

He holds a BSc(Hons) degree in Business Management from King’s College, University of London.
