Paul Morrison (born in 1944) is a British film director and screenwriter. He has mainly directed documentaries and drama films. His movie "Solomon and Gaenor" (1999) was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film. Citation

In 2007, Paul Morrison shot "Little Ashes" - a film about the life and loves of artist Salvador Dali, poet Federico Garcia Lorca and filmmaker Luis Bunuel. The film was shot mainly in Barcelona Citation

The part of Dali is played by Robert Pattinson, a 21-year-old London-born actor best known to cinema audiences as Cedric Diggory in the "Harry Potter" series. Lorca is played by Spanish actor Javier Beltran, while the role of Bunuel is taken by Matthew McNulty, who was in Control, the recent biopic of Joy Division singer Ian Curtis.
