This species is endemic to the east coast of Northland in the
North Island ofNew Zealand , extending to theChatham Rise .Habitat
This deepwater top shell lives at depths of between 185 and 660 m.
hell description
The shell is , with a rather elevated spire, and almost smooth, except for a plain ridge bordering the rather narrow deeply perspective umbilicus.
The external shell coloration is shining buff, slightly greenish
iridescent .The shell height is up to 4.5 mm, and the width is up to 5.5 mm.
